Why frameless screens leak (and how we prevent it)
Most "leaking" frameless screens are not failed glass. The usual causes:
- Floor falls the wrong way. Water runs out of the shower zone regardless of the glass. This must be fixed with tiling, not glass.
- No drip edge. Water follows the underside of the glass and drops on the dry side.
- Gap set too tight or too wide at the door. Both push water outwards.
- Wrong silicone. General-purpose silicone goes black and peels in a Malaysian bathroom.
- Shower head aimed at the opening. Simple to change, often overlooked.

- Buying a "standard size" screen online for a non-standard bathroom.
