Our in-house carpenters work with premium materials — 18mm plywood carcasses (not cheap MDF), 25mm thick shelves for wardrobes, high-pressure laminate or spray-painted finishes, and quality hardware (Häfele, Blum). We build: built-in floor-to-ceiling wardrobes, walk-in closet systems, TV consoles and feature walls, study desks and home-office cabinetry, dining benches and banquette seating, feature storage walls for living rooms, custom shoe cabinets, and display shelving. Every project is measured on-site, drawn in CAD, and rendered in 3D before manufacture. We never outsource critical cabinet-making — all work is done in our own KL workshop.

What is the difference between plywood and MDF for built-in furniture?

Plywood is a layered wood-veneer product with much higher structural strength, moisture resistance, and screw-holding ability — ideal for wardrobes, cabinets, and any piece that needs to bear weight or be disassembled. MDF (Medium-Density Fibreboard) is a fine-particle board that is smoother for painting but absorbs moisture easily and sags under load. We use plywood for all structural components and only use MDF where a perfectly smooth painted finish is required (e.g. some feature wall panels).
How long does it take to build a custom wardrobe?

From design sign-off to installation, typically 4 to 6 weeks: 1 week for design revisions and approval, 2–3 weeks for workshop manufacturing, 1–2 days for on-site installation. We provide a detailed timeline at sign-off so you can plan your move-in or other renovations accordingly.
Can I supply my own hardware (handles, runners, hinges)?

Yes. You can supply your preferred hardware or we can include Häfele or Blum in the quote. If you supply, we will not warranty the hardware, but our workmanship warranty still covers the assembly. Many clients supply imported handles from Taobao or Carousell for a more bespoke look at lower cost.
Do you handle built-in carpentry in condos and high-rises?

Yes. We have extensive experience working in condos and serviced apartments across KL — Mont Kiara, Bangsar, KLCC, Damansara, etc. We comply with management work-hour rules, use lift protection, and handle all debris removal. A typical condo built-in wardrobe can be measured, manufactured, and installed within 4 to 6 weeks.
