Low water pressure in a Malaysian home is a narrowing problem: somewhere between the mains and your tap, the flow path has gotten smaller. The classic causes, in order of how often we see them: a clogged shower-head or inlet filter (the cheap one), old galvanized pipes that have rusted their diameter away over 20+ years, a partially closed stop valve, a failing booster pump in a multi-storey house, or — rarely — a mains-side issue from the utility. The tell is the scope. One tap weak points at that tap's aerator or its local pipe run; the whole house weak points at the valve, the pump, or the main line; and pressure that dropped suddenly after road works points at the supply. The fix matches the cause — a RM50 filter swap or a RM2,000 pump — which is why the diagnosis comes first.
